The inaugural 2012 Ironman Mont-Tremblant is a new additional to the prestigious Ironman global series. Athletes will start the 2.4-mile (3.8 km) swim on the golden sands of the Beach & Tennis club located next to the charming village of Tremblant Resort. The two-loop, 112-mile (180 km) bike course runs largely through Mont-Tremblant’s forests and mountains. Athletes will then embark on the two-loop, 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run course is known for its scenic beauty and finish in heart of the pedestrian village of Tremblant Resort.

The inaugural Ironman Mont-Tremblant is slated for August 19, 2012 and will offer 50 Age Group qualifying slots for the 2012 Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i with more than 2,000 participants from Canada and around the world.
